Forms For Obstetrical Patients

What To Expect For OB Care With Us

First Trimester (1-12 weeks)
  • 8-10 weeks: Your first OB visit, lab work, and ultrasound - visit every three to four weeks
  • You may experience nausea, vomiting, "morning sickness," bloating, breast tenderness, and fatigue
Second Trimester (13-27 weeks)
  • Office visits every three to four weeks
  • Nausea typically improves, able to feel fetal movement, common symptoms include lower abdominal discomfort, heartburn, and food cravings
  • 13-20 weeks: Listen to the heartbeat with Doppler, ultrasound, and gender reveal
  • 21-24 weeks: Lab work and breastfeeding consultation
Third Trimester (28-40 weeks)
  • 30-32 weeks: TDAP vaccine (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
  • 32-36 weeks: Appointments every two weeks
  • 36 weeks: Weekly appointments
  • You may experience fatigue, backaches, frequent urination, and Braxton Hicks contractions
  • Recommend: Rest, increase fluid water intake, and eat small frequent meals with snacks
